Krystal's video review of Allegiant

I just finished Allegiant today and recorded my review of it a few hours ago because I needed to get my feels out. And now I want to share them with you.

WARNING !!!!!  If you have not read it yet or you haven't finished it, then do not click play on this video.
You will be massively spoiled and no one wants that. Someone ruined it for me on purpose and I did not enjoy the book as much as I would have. So please don't ruin it for yourself if you haven't gotten to it.

For those of you who have, then enjoy and leave your comments..

  1. I agree with a lot of your points, but I'm okay with how it all ended because in my mind there wasn't very many other ways for it to end and stay true to the overall story. The thing that bug me is the overall implication that it says about the society in the book, but I'm still working out my feelings on it.

  2. Gaaah I still can't get over the end. I was honestly heart broken when I finished it... The only thing that helped was spoons of Nutella! But as sad as I was, I found that there was something so powerful about it. It was sort of an Aslan-dying-on-the-stone-table sort of thing... Totally heart breaking yet totally beautiful. I think it was a cruelly realistic and very sad ending, but I don't think she could have written a more powerful one. Definitely a 5/5 for me.

  3. That comparison to Aslan was so great and you're right about it being realistic. Not every story has a happy ending, sometimes despite all that effort, tragedy still happens. And I did like that she wasn't afraid to do what most authors are afraid to do by killing off the main character
